Nope, so many artists out there of all ages to carry the torch, this forum just very limited to what they listen to Hip Hop wise in general, you got Chris Rivers, Sa-Roc, Joyner Lucas, Logic, J Cole, Blu. Brother Ali, The Four Owls, Nipsey Hussle, HorseShoe Gang, Lowkey, Akala, ASAP Ferg, Ransom, Dee-1, Big K.R.I.T, Mysonne, Beast1333, Rapsody, Snow The Product, Fashawn, DISL Automatic, there's too many to name, so much dope Hip Hop out there and something for everybody, a lot of legends still active in their later years too, KRS-One still making music and he probably will as long as he's alive, no reason why other legends can't follow the same path.
I rock with some of the artists u just named

U don’t have to be on this site to know about them dudes... I don’t talk about these dudes everyday but if u were in tune with the YOUTH , u would know that they rock with dudes like this HEAVY ... ima hip hop fan been one since 1992 and I’m only 30 so don’t go there breh
:camby:
I'm in tune with the youth and I'm not old either.
I'm saying that no one I know likes their music, they are not selling records and they are not doing big shows, so why are people talking about them like they are Drake, Cole and Kendrick levels? They are one hit wonders serving to a sub-group within hiphop.

Talk about Logic, who my little brother and them fukks with he's selling 10 times more. Talk about Kodak, Chance the rapper, Vince Staples, Migos, Joyner Lucas, Uzi, Joey Badass, Brockhampton, Amine and on. But Nah let's keep on talking about 6ix9 and Pump, that's all that exists right? They are the ones doing the dumb numbers right? A few years ago there were similar people like Trinidad James, Chief Keef + 15 copies and on and people like you were saying in 6 years all of music will be these dudes. Macklemore blows up, "ahh in 5 years all rappers will be Macklemores".

This is what they call populism in politics.

Yeah they’re out there... 50 literally killed the game for 4 years (2002-2006) and hit music turned to shyt after... dude been living off those 4 great years for a minute now... I’ll give it to him tho, he knows how to make money n stay relevant
Oh I know. I started really listening to hip-hop right about the time GRODT dropped. He was gigantic. I don't remember who, but some rapper said they've never seen anyone have as much hype globally as he did during that time period. He hasn't dropped anything memorable in a while though

Right!! He got way too successful way too quick and that caused him to start making bullshyt.... he became spoiled and thought anything he put his name on would be a masterpiece and he fell off musically because of it.... he will always have stans. And white folks love 50

It always hurts when a legend passes ....it’s never any of the wack corny artists that go. Not that I wish harm on anybody, but u know what I mean... I was hurt when prodigy passed... pimp c too... I was like a piece of my childhood being taken away
:snoop:
thing was Sean P was one of the last ones out there still really doing it. when he passed, it felt like there was nothing left for me :mjcry:
