There was some of that…. but the blight and crime really took off in the 70s…. Gen X were still kids…. It’s a lot of nuance missing from this statement. I mean a lot….

Stop having these kids and treating them like they just along for the ride. Single moms are going to Thailand and having theirkids younger than 10 watch themselves while they go out! It’s the neglect

Lastly y’all need to tell these kids the get down, stop thinking you are wishing a bad reality on them or they’re gonna “manifest” bad futures if you tell them their history and why we are here. Takes too much time and momentum they don’t have when they get that wake up call to realize they gotta move different and be on point
