Tracks like Lord Knows and Over My Dead Body are classic, but that's not the point, I agree with you he's getting better

Stop. The Ride shyts on anything from Nothing Was The Same except Too Much. Are we forgetting Lord Knows, Underground Kings, The Real Her.

C'mon breh. Whenever dude is featured on a song, it gets a bunch of spins. And when he IS featured, they give him hook duty as well. Plus 0-100 was a throwaway and got a Grammy nomination. How is that not on?

Being popular has never=talented especially in hip hop. I just worded my post wrong. He was always on he just was never good enough talent wise to have a fall off

0 to 100 track is the only song I can honestly say I liked from this cornball. He feeling himself too much tho and he been real quiet since Diddy sent him to the ER.

How I'd say it takes talent to write songs like The Calm and The Resistance, I'd say it takes talent to hold your own with guys like Lupe Fiasco, Elzhi and Phonte on a track. I'd say it takes talent to outrap Hov not once but twice. How is Drake not talented.

I like Nothing Was The Same, all the songs he's been dropping are throwaways, if anything it shows he hasn't fallen off if his worst shyt is making more noise than peoples best shyt.

The ride n Lord Knows doesnt "shyt on" anything. Replay value wack and it sounds dated as hell. I would even argue that shyt like Connect and Wu-tang forever are better than almost anything on Take Care. No way those songs are hitting shyt like 5am In Toronto which is arguably Drake's hardest song. Underground Kings is a slapper tho.

Take Care as a whole is good. But I feel nikkas just more nostalgic over that era and are Weeknd dikkriders rather than Drake himself. Its pretty hard to argue that Drake didnt go on to become a better rapper/artist.

Drake's whole run to NWTS was bananas. It completely obliterates everything he did previously.

Started From to Bottom to 5am In Toronto to the care package with Versace n Jodeci Freestyle to Wu tang forever to the release :banderas:

Just even comparing the lead singles like Headlines to SFTB is like looking at two different rappers.

9AM in Dallas is as good as 5AM in Toronto. :manny:

Wu-Tang Forever and Connect aren't shyt breh, Wu-Tang Forever was disappointing as hell actually. :yeshrug:

If you gonna praise the album talk about Tuscan Leather, Too Much, Pound Cake, Furthest Thing not wack shyt like 305 to my City and Connect. :scust:

STFTB is trash lyrically compared to Headlines, the beat is amazing though.

How does The Ride sound dated shyt is smooth, timeless Drake floated on it and The Weeknd's vocals elevated the track it's like a consensus top Drake song. Lord Knows is a classic Just Blaze beat with Drake and Rozay both killing it. :dahell:

I could give a fukk about The Weeknd I'm not one of his stans that say he made the album what it is I wouldn't even consider myself a fan of his.

I do agree his run to the album was crazy though. :wow:

He's falling off in terms of quality but not in terms of popularity
I meant in terms of quality. Btw, popularity inevitably follows quality. Look at Snoop, 50 (hate all you want GRODT and early mixtapes were full of bangers), and most recently Weezy.
