He and AJ stand damn near eye to eye

What "professional wrestling" is though is about the spectacle. Finn can do that in spades. He makes his running kick offense look impactful so that's what matters. He can sell and people sell for him. But as far as building a believable offense

Wasn't at all great.

Does anything pass for great at this point, so conditioned to take anything above average and deem it great.

Zayn v. Nakamura was great
Revival vs. DIY had great matches
CM Punk vs. Lesnar was great

Those are good matches.

Not great, they don't hang with top tier matches.

He's capable of good to very good, i`ve yet to see greatness. His fukking Ladder match with Owens was outshined by Bayley/Sasha

No one who watched Finn in japan (ie: actually knows what the fukk theyre talking about) were clamoring for his matches. Dude has been average in the ring for the longest. The assorted paint he used to do and the light up jacket are why he was over for the most part. Its why he was never picked as IWGP champ and AJ was.
