If they want to be more kid friendly why dont they just redesign the hell in a cell to look like the elemination chamber or the oldschool blue wwf cage

they cant

chain-link fencing (the latter is now the standard, due to it being cheaper to manufacture, lighter to transport, and more flexible and thus safer for the wrestlers).

Taker v Foley raised the bar WAY too high for the violence expectations with that match.


Taker v Brock was pretty damn stellar IMO but the bar is just too high as far as what kinda dangerous shyt needs to be done to get that feeling out of that match.

Yeah.

I remember looking at the tv like watching HBK vs. Taker in the cell, match was crazy. Then Foley raised the bar WAAAAAAAAAY too high and went through the cell and OFF the cell. The Taker vs. Foley Cell Match wasn't a great 'match' but the spots in that match made it memorable.

The match type has just been over used making it a ppv was just overkill man. Hell in a Cell used to be a special attraction, once every few years type of match. The mystique of it is gone because we've seen it so much. Plus a lot of times folks just wrestle a regular match in the cell, just a plain match with a few weapons thrown in.
