Obviously the sample sizes are much larger now because its not just you and your team, kicking it, philosophizing on god, church, bytches and all which gives you a wider perspective with more info pouring in.

A few threads on here recently got me thinking as people seem to be getting more and more savage. Could it be the sheen of anonymity that allows people to let loose and reveal the true you as they confess their inner secrets and experiences or is it because we're hearing more and more folk sharing tales of how people really ain't ish. Or was it like this from the jump but kept under wraps as society was more straight laced but people still did dirt but kept it on the low.

Thats the energy I'm talking about. Thats the same thing that fueled casual violence back then and its the same thing powering online whining now because man uses the tools at hand to express his inner world the best way he can but the scope of the topic goes beyond that and encompasses a lot more like how disposable everything seems now, the general frivolousness, the low value people place on themselves (and consequently others), the begging for validation and the self loathing it attempts to hide, all of it.

There has been a definite shift in humanity but like cooking a live frog they eased it into a pan full of cold water and slowly turned up the heat so it wouldn't realize til it was done.

Its very odd because if you look at the average age of mentality it seems people are more juvenile collectively now than ever before with extremely "me, me, me" attitudes and behaviors along with a total abdication of responsibility which in turn fuels the need to blame others.

Society as a whole has been dumbed down immensely in the past 40 years and its absolutely insane to see how low the bar is these days for what constitutes a decent human being. People haven't really changed as humanity were never really about ish, except now they're even less about ish than they've ever been as apathy slash entitlement is so rampant.
