An individuals personal preference has no baring on this convo. For those channels to still be on the air that means alot of people are watching. Thread starter is complaining about how Hispanics are not featured on regular television more then black people when they have their own channels and are just as underrepresented on network Television the same as other minorities.

Isn't the "Hispanic channel" really just the "Mexican" channel?

Hispanic literally means "speak Spanish". A Hispanic can look like anything. The majority of Hispanics are white Hispanics. So what does it mean to have more "Hispanics" featured in the media? What does that mean? Mexicans?

I was going by speaks Spanish thread starter needs to set the parameters if he means Mexicans or some other Spanish speakers.

If you want to go there then the full representation of blacks are not represented on television as well when most shows leave out Caribbean blacks and Africans.

a lot of people are watching because a lot of people speak little or no english. there's demand for spanish language television. I'm not sure where that fits into what the OP was talking about

black people are at least 25-30% of the population. cacs just make it seem like our numbers are small cause its easier to control a group when they think they are weak and powerless.

Why stop at 25-30? Why not 65-70%?
