there has been more movies about slavery then there has been about azteks/mayans who managed to build a huge civilization i always thought that was weird.

I have a simple explanation: Slavery is American history. Mayan/Aztec history is not. This might have something to do with it but I'm not sure. Mayan/Aztec history is very interesting and I've seen documentaries on the societies in the past.

There is a whole generation of Mexican Americans who weren't raised in a Spanish only speaking homes. A lot of folks are very ignorant when it comes to this cuz they think all people of mexican decent are wetbacks.

Mexicans been living in states like Cali, mm, az, Colorado Texas way before america existed.

Anyway telemundo and shyt like that is not watched by majority of "Hispanics".

Mexico and Mexicans have no more right to any land on this continent than any American. Mexico itself is simply a colonial nation like the United States. Some people forget this notion when they speak of land and rights. If Americans claim a piece of land, it belongs to Americans.

Actually most Mexicans are descended from recent immigrants or are immigrants themselves. So in fact the vast majority did hop the border and claim citizenship shortly thereafter. I'd actually say the community is based on immigrants or their descendants.
