This is it, LeBron has all the skills needed to dominate offensively. True, he is not the greatest jump shooter but he, like most pros, can knock down 15 foot open jumpers in his sleep. The fact that San An is telling him he cant shoot is making his mentally weak self, question whether he can shoot or not. This is why he plays guard, so 6'3" or 6'4" people can check him and he can look/pass/shoot right over them. This is why he doesnt get in the dunk contest but will pregame dunk all year because its no competition. He wont go in the post/defend the post because its too much work and he cant get out in transition. He needs to be slapped up and told his legacy is taking a hit due to Kawhi and Green NOT defending him. He is putting his team in jeopardy because his confidence in his teammates is greater than the confidence he has in himself.

good post

What's even more disrespectful was how Pop emptied his bench with 8 minutes left in the 4th quarter. It's the fukking NBA championship series, you're tied 1-1, and you empty your bench in the 4th with 8 minutes left only up by 20. That shyt was completely disrespectful.

Pop was basically

Kobe and Melo have the skills to post and fade and post and shoot a turn-around shot. They can do this sh!t with ease. Durant have height advantage and his shot is lethal. Lebron doesn't have the top scorers' attributes to get the shots he wants from the perimeter in a consistent basis. That's what I mean by Spurs making him working hard for his points because Lebron's jumpshot isn't that great enough to make the Spurs pay the consequence for sagging off him.

bubbu, but he shoots over 50% from the field though, bubbbbbut he's the best player in the league though :troll:

Great post, this is what I meant earlier in the year when I said. Lebron depends/needs his 3pt shooters more than they need him. His game will suffer tremendously if he can't pass to shooter to allow him to Dunk/Layup/Drive&Kick

:comeon: This nikka has seen every kind of defense and frankly the Pacers were better on D. The nikka has shown he can take over games and series in the past against different types of defense.

I just love how nikkas become mental migdets or soft or insert pejorative here when they lose or are struggling. What you gonna say if this nikka goes off the next 4 games? Lemme guess the Spurs were mental midgets right? :heh:

He always have been a mental midget and last year didn't change shyt because he done it against another mental midget. And the problem with the Pacers is they didnt have the offense to match or to pose as a threat. Sometimes the best offense is the best defense. And of course, he has seen this defense before but he hasn't seen in the past years since he develop his jumpshot. It only worked because his mind wasn't prepared to have the be aggressive in the beginning and so he was caught off guard. Now that he is expecting it, I don't supposed he will be so hesitant and taking out of his game.

You notice the only teams Lebron has trouble with are the mentally strong teams with strong leaders

nah I think y'all are going in on lebrons character a lil too much

:stopitslime: Following the loss to the Mav's 2 yrs ago

“All the people that were rooting on me to fail, at the end of the day, they have to wake up tomorrow and have the same life that they had before they woke up today. They have the same personal problems they had today. I’m going to continue to live the way I want to live and continue to do the things that I want to do with me and my family and be happy with that. They can get a few days or a few months or whatever the case may be on being happy about not only myself, but the Miami Heat not accomplishing their goal. But they have to get back to the real world at some point.”

:mindblown: They were basically playing off of Lebron by 5 feet and than triple teamed him when he went to the basket. As overrated as Melo is he woulda been able to make those wide open shots. He woulda drop 50pts if the Spurs played off of him like they did to Bron.

I'm still in shock over how they basically dared Lebron to hit a 15 foot jumpshot. For all intents and purposes, Pop treated Lebron like Rajon Rondo or Ronnie Brewer?

Is that what it's going to come down to the rest of this series? Lebron's ability to make a 15 footer.

its the same thing soft dallas did to him a few years back. its the same thing DUMB okc didnt do to him last season.

any team with a brain will choose that path. will he beat you? MAYBE... cause he is wide open. if he gains some confidence he could catch fire and game over most likely. but odds are he wont catch fire to often from mid range. cause thats not his shot at all. and he knows it. so he's afraid to take it.

remember all the "lbj makes the right basketball play." because he likes passing. well friends. the right basketball play is which ever play puts you in the best situation to win the game. so what play is that? LBJ taking mid range jumpers and hitting them. i'm not a 3pt shooter per se. but let some defender back up off of me. i'm dottin that eye. you know why? cause i will feel DISRESPECTED. lbj doesnt feel that way.

Prada sums it up here:

The Spurs have defended James by daring him to do what he doesn't want to do on every single possession: shoot from the perimeter. San Antonio knows that James has improved his perimeter shot significantly since he entered the league, and they don't care. It's not always about a player's shooting percentage, it's how much they make themselves into a threat by shooting confidently. James has often been a reluctant perimeter shooter since coming to Miami, choosing instead to enforce his will around the basket. He's heard all those who wondered why he settled for so many jumpers in Cleveland given his size and adjusted his game accordingly.

But the Spurs aren't playing James based on his percentages; they're playing him based on his tendencies. There's an important distinction between the two. The Spurs know that James prefers to take his time and survey the floor whenever possible. They know that James can be a reluctant shooter that instead prefers to use his strength to drive and his vision to find players as he attacks. Within all that, sure, James will occasionally rise and fire effectively, but it's in situations where he feels comfortable with how he's being covered. By playing several feet off him, the Spurs are putting James' brain in an unfamiliar situation that is causing him to hesitate.

:ohhh:

Good read. Thanks.

Edit: What's really dope is that I'm starting to realize Pop been working on this plan all year... He went out his way to hide it during the regular season benching his starters and all that....:ohhh:

Am I right? or am I thinking to hard?

they havent played them full strength in like 3 years it was definitely intentional :lolbron:
