Dude pops up, just enough to get some :krs::krs::krs: from fans.... then disappears for months on end..... leaving them on some " he said he gon be right back, he just went to go get some cigarettes...he coming back:lolbron:" type shyt.

At this point, who the fukk even cares about a new Jay Electronica track? it aint 2009 anymore.... and him dropping tracks don't mean shyt anymore.

him and Jay rapped over a track that people literally stopped caring about, 4 hours after it came out... unless you were one of those lyrical, miracle, spiritual, ethereal visuals coming thru the vortex of your mental projectable ass dudes.

Like. we know the formula....drop 2-3 songs a year, tweet 6 times ( then delete, cause it's cool to not use the internet) about how "the wait is over", "the start of something", " get ready" or some fake deep shyt like " Music is a force of nature.. that force knows nothing but it's own way"..... then repeat.

Jay Electronica fans lowkey, might be the most unknowingly miserable ass fans ever...

Biggest waste of hype in Hip Hop history, ever.

The levels of caping to excuse him dropping only a handful of songs in 5 years is legendary... you bring that shyt up and you're guaranteed to get a reply with the following phrases

- That real hip hop
- Soulja Boy,Gucci Mane,Lil Wayne or (insert popular southern rapper)
- quality over quantity
- How many rappers have songs as good as Exhibit C ?
- "it takes time to make music like that"
- and the famous " i don't care if he drops an album, i'm happy he made Exhibit C"

It may just be a good thing to be honest... to keep songs to a minimum to keep his mystique. That track he dropped with Mobb Deep exposed the chinks in his armor, it was  worthy

I don't care if he drops an album, I'm happy he made Exhibit C. :manny:

Plus it takes time to make music that good.

I'll take quality of quantity.

I mean, how many other rappers made a song as good as Exhibit C?

That was true hip hop. :wow:
what you did here...................................................................................I see it

his album is finished. he's a perfectionist and he keeps going in and changing it.

ALOT OF THE HOLD UP WAS JAY PERSONALLY FEELING LIKE THE ALBUM WAS A LITTLE HEAVY FOR TODAYS AUDIENCE AND BEING NERVOUS ABOUT NOT HAVING A JINGLE TYPE SINGLE TO SELL/PROMOTE THE RECORD.

Jay Z of all people has been the one coaching Jay thru that fear and they trying to close out the album now. But from what I hear its remarkable and worth every bit of the wait. I aint gon reveal my sources, but he (Jay E) hangs out with alot of my people from Brooklyn. The nikka who told me this was actually on the stage with them this past weekend and is real tight with son. But he's living his life, his rise from being homeless till now has really been quite remarkable when u think about it. Let him cook...
