The idea of Red being an all timer when he wasn’t even at the top in his own era is laughable. He’s dope but he is in the personal favorite category

And the larger point as it relates to a top 10, is Redman is one of MANY rappers who were great in the 90s but don't belong on an official top 10 list. Like if you're putting Red im putting Prodigy, I'm putting Beans. You gon tell me with a straight face he better??? That's why it's a must you differentiate between an official list vs YOUR personal favorite. Redman is a classic case of someone who is people's PERSONAL FAVORITE but he is not top an official top 10 all time

The thing about rap is unlike athletes you don't lose your skill with age. So he could by all means challenge the existing all time greats Nas, Jay, etc.
But a diss too soon after this would seem a reach maybe after this one blows over in like 3-5 years he goes at Jay or something on some competition shyt
