That's a very good choice too. But a lot of people are confused about Floyd's actual Prime

IMO he started his prime when he became Pretty Boy Floyd and was physically at his best. When he became Money Mayweather he was still in his prime but not at the level he was at when he was PBF imo
I actually disagree...pbf was more dominant because his power was more dangerous at 130 and 135. At welterweight his defense became more important and he knocked out less boxers...but also became literally the greatest defensive boxer of all time.

It's like the opposite of Barry bonds and his weight...both halves of his career are GOAT status

I don't think he was ever out of his prime.

Its Brady. He has all the records at his position and was throwing for a career high in yards at 43

Tom Brady not even close.

It's easy to stat pad, and stay in ur "prime" in the NBA.
Tom Brady shouldn't even be in the discussion because he wasn't Brady the beast until around '08. He was essentially a game manager up to that point.

Bron was literally THAT nikka from his 2nd year (2004) to 2018.

And I think he reached a higher level than Brady.

Certainly had the longest prime in basketball history. "Primes" are subjective to actually label but any dude who wanna put a time frame on it, it's gonna be longer than anyone's ever. Nobody was making All-NBA in their second season and still making All-NBA 18 years after that, it's never happened before....

His athletic prime has been in decline since he returned to Cleveland, 2015. But he's been among the 10-12 best players in basketball every year of his career since Y2. That's the marker of "prime" that I use for everyone, how long were you one of the elite players in your sport?

Probably the longest but not the highest peaks, obviously. Still leaning towards Tom Brady who was winning rings up til the end.
How much of that was due to the defenses he had or the O Line's he had?

See football is completely different. Because if Brady had horrible o-lines and defenses it doesn't matter how talented u think he is, he wouldn't have really done shyt:manny:

His shyt is more luck than probably anybody
