When he came to them with the idea of the cold sociopathic character that he was supposed to become, the creative team threw him a list of names. He said some of the names on the list were Otto Von Ruthless, Ice Dagger, and... Chilly McFreeze.

That TEAM stuff completely devoid of originality. Where'd that shyt go? The Gangsta, Eliminators, Filthy Animals, Kronik...even that really bad 05-07 era had the actual team names...Highlanders, Gymini, Heartthrobs, La Resistance. Does it take THAT much thought to do the simplest things?

They've been back to it lately... there's New Day, the Outcasts, Lucha Dragons, Ascension, Wyatt Family, etc... but yeah, for a while it was just TEAM Everything or wrestler & wrestler.

Yeap... it's kinda 70s/early-80s old school in a way, but also really lazy.

I don't like this "Team Such-n-Such" shyt they do every now & then either. Like there was no reason to have it be TEAM Rhodes Scholars or TEAM Hell No... if Foley & Rock teamed up now, they'd be Team Rock n Sock

That "Team So & So" been going on since the last days of WCW with Team Canada. But yeah it's corny & uncreative either way it goes. After running out of ideas for team names, they'll pair 2 random people together & call them Team Single on the strength of them being singles competitors.
