the watches are wack.

the luxury collection isnt what brings all of its revenue though i'm sure. i'm talking from a pure revenue standpoint will they fall off ? @dora_da_destroyer
bruh, contrary to small minded thinking, brands like that don't fall off because it loses steam with an urban audience...nautica, hillfiger, polo are all strong even though they're not urban staples any longer. the brand is not a fad, he's a long established name in fashion. now whether the company picks a poor strategy or misses on targets due to poor buisness decisions, that's another story, but shorting the stock because sherwanda and them aren't as excited about their MK boots is not a good move.

and their women's watches are definitely hot, easily one of the most popular watch brands in the $100-300 range.

MK makes nice shyt but it's going to be coach status soon :mjcry:
what is coach status? coach was never chanel, balmain, hermes, etc. coach was always entry level luxury/upmarket, not high-end/couture. coach is still selling, still has customers of all ehtnicities, etc. the only thing that got played out about coach was their logo print, which honestly got played out by everyone except LV

Lol I'm not talking about the hood.... I'm talking about the general middle class consumer. Who you trying to condescend :usure:

And as far as shorting the stock it's about expectations versus reality. I think the growth expectations are too high and that they have plateaued a bit

yall nikkas brought up thots and hoodrats as being the reason it's hot...so that got addressed in my replies to you. MK was on a growth spree, point blank is it's too early to think you're going to short them

I work at Macy's and I've been :eat: real good off these women with their Michael Kors shoe cravings .

:heh: @ it being a brand for thots. Young and old, any race, income bracket is into the brand. I'm :mindblown: how some of them are determined to have so many matching MK sets (I.e. shoes to go with the handbag to go with the wallet to go with the watch in the right color and matching MK logo) There's an open position in my department as a MK specialist. I would get a cut of all of the MK shoes sold in your department on top of the commission I get already :whoo:

I thought the wave was going to die a while ago but it's here to stay.

Can any brand really last without a good percent of male consumers?
i believe so, there's only so much you can do with men's clothing, especially at that price point. women's fragrances, accessories, dresses, shoes can sustain a brand. chanel only started selling menswear ~10 years ago, that house is still very dedicated to women

edit: vera wang is still all women's i believe
