It's a rebuilding period that was predicted when most of the talent went to the main roster, including Ryan Ward, should be back on track by 2017, not that it's terrible or anything now, just missing something.

Sounds to me like people stopped caring when NXT got a little more ethnic in the upper card

Once Takeover is done I think we'll see what direction they plan on taking. I can't say it's been as enjoyable and I was definitely more hype for Takeover Brooklyn 1.

Joe vs Naka will deliver as will Asuka vs Bayley 2. Not really sure what to expect from Roode vs Almas and Aries vs NWJ.

Ppvs still very consistent though so I aint complaining. And the Brooklyn II card looks like it'll be dope so

Nah... it's what it always should've been. A launchpad for people soon to hit the main roster, not a place for people to get mega-over and then stay and be the top stars. It should be all bout development until the star is ready to move up. Hell, there's a couple on the WWE roster that probably need to get moved back there.

All that kinda went out the window when they started touring and need to sell tickets. There's really no other reason for Joe, Naka, Roode, Aries, Asuka, and Bailey to still be down there.

Really, if Joe ain't losin his title and movin' up to Raw or SD, there's no reason for him to still be there. Maybe he will, then pop up on SummerSlam... but he's been there for long enough. Guess Bayley moves up sooner than later. And some of these who just signed should be moved up over the next couple months as well... they could make NXT interesting still, but it doesnt need to be a 3rd brand so people can just stay there and not have to compete within the roster.

I mean they didn't even attempt to try and play AJ like that, he came right in and was one of their biggest stars because unless you're living under a wrestling rock you know Samoa Joe and Nakamura. Right now instead of those two fueding for a development title they could be elevating the IC title on Sunday instead of Miz and Crews while Crews faces Corbin, Almas, or Jose on Saturday and they'd still draw a good crowd.

But those tours make money it just kinda defeats the purpose, especially when barring the females alot of their development guys aren't really over right now.

If bayley loses she's gone and it'll be ember moon eventually dethroning a heel asuka

Whoever loses nakamura and joe probably goes up too

Tye Dillinger and hideo are probably next up for big spots

Plus it'll be interesting to see if any of the cruiserweights go to nxt
