People wanted Obama to perform miracles.

also, for the first two years of obama's presidency was one for the record books - democrats literally ran all of washington.

he went in with the most power of any president in U.S. history, and right after 8 years of BUSH? we were energized.

and what did he do? he not only kept the patriot act, he expanded it.

and his primary focus was some shyt called "cash for clunkers"

This, however, is lazy. Notwithstanding what I just said, this is just bullshyt. Presidents have legislation drafted in their quarters and presented to Congress to modify all the time. What do you mean what legislation did we petition Congress for? The average citizen does not know the exact policy that we need, they just can feel the problems. That's like me having car trouble and I go a mechanic and he just tweaks it so I can drive, but doesn't fix the underlying issue and when I complain he says, "But you never asked me to fix the muffler specifically." You're in the profession of making this shyt work, not me. I'm coming to you because this is what you're supposed to do. You think the citizens drafted the New Deal legislation? You think it was our idea to deregulate banks? Nah, the "smartest guys in the room" decided that this is what was necessary.

You are citing legislation that affects everyone. Name one policy that was drafted in the Obama White House that only benefits one ethnic interest group. Legislation that people name concerning Jews or Latinos were pushed by Jewish and Latino representatives. Gays got their victories through the courts with the deciding votes coming from judges Obama didn't appoint.

The law was actually enforced back then. Just because the Feds are neutered and politiczed in way we have never seen (a scandal itself) doesn't mean the scandals aren't there.

Also, how was he supposed to stop radical Islamic terrorism? That is like being angry at someone for not being able to rid the world of all evil completely. That is not humanly possible since man has been killing one another since we have been on this planet.

People really expected one man in 4-8 years to erase hundreds, of not thousands of years of prejudice people hold onto that predates this country and erase terrorism as if it hasn't existed in some form or another since the history of civilization. Wipe out a national debt of trillions? How?

You also left out his trickle down economics, the Iran-contra affair, militarization of the war on drugs and the crack epidemic the CIA manufactured, his firing thousands of union workers on strike which effectively dealt a death blow to the middle class along with his previously mentioned trickle down economics, and ignoring the AIDS epidemic that killed hundreds of thousands. He didn't even speak its name his entire first term

In 30 years, what will they point to as Obama's defining legacy? Busted ass Obamacare that will be replaced within the next 2 administration? His foreign policy disasters? An economy that prompted a populist insurrection from both the left and right?

Where is his Emancipation Proclamation? Where is his New Deal? Where is his Reagan Revolution? Where is his Trust Busting? Where is his League of Nations? What home runs has he hit? Gracefully dealing with congressional intransigence does not a great Presidential legacy make.
