One of the most disappointing albums of my life. Up there with the Bootcamp album. This album is when I thought the Wu was done. Ghostface saved the brand imo
Possibly the biggest drop off in rap history in terms of an undisputed classic debut and a weed tray/Beer coaster ass sophomore effort.

We would be looking at Rae’s career in a whole nother light. With that said tho I feel like Rae needed Ghost features more than Ghost needed Rae features. Rae as my favorite member of the Wu up until this album. But Ghostface ended up proving he had the better ear for production and more charisma to carry an albumFacts
Here’s a thought
What if Rae would’ve had them Supreme Clientele beats for Immobilarity![]()

I remember them saying they wanted to get away from Da Beatminerz becuz they didn’t wanna be pigeonholed. Which didn’t make any sense. They were just on the verge of blowing up and that’s when you choose to switch things up?The fukk were they thinking with those beats on that Boot Camp album? Some of those keyboard beats were cool but most... nah
La The Darkman's album had significantly better productionAlbum coulda been a classic without the $50 beats![]()
Doggfather is barely listenable. Immobilarity still had a few bangers and lyrically its nice afPossibly the biggest drop off in rap history in terms of an undisputed classic debut and a weed tray/Beer coaster ass sophomore effort.
shyt was complete trash. I don't fukk with any non-Beatminerz BCC stuff...at all. MFers try to "break the mold" then end up breaking their careers. The fukk were they thinking with those beats on that Boot Camp album? Some of those keyboard beats were cool but most... nah

You aint wrong. The beats on Immobilarity are so horrible, I can’t even listen to that shyt no more
No bullshyt, but when it comes to Rae’s catalog all I need is Cuban Linx
It’s messed up too, because he’s a great emcee but other than Cuban Linx, he got a wack ass catalog of wack beats
It’s funny, nikkas use to give Nas hell bout beat picking but Nas never picked wack beats like Rae has on his later albums
You aint wrong.
As for immobilarity I've tried to like the album a million times and I just can't. And and say this with Raekwon being one of my personal favorite rappers (off prime Wu alone) and my favorite member of the Clan.
As for production:
Live From NY is a dope beat
Real Life is a dope beat
My Favorite Dred is a dope beat
the Pete Rock joint, Sneakers, is nice
Casablanca beat is decent
100 Rounds is aight to solid (I tend to like it)
The rest is a mixed bag of mid to worse, unless I'm completely forgetting something.
Still could've been classic with 4th & True. 4th was LACING Killarmy in that eraYeah I tried going back and listening to his later album a week ago and I couldn’t cause they so bad with the beats
Rae can still spit but he’s a horrible beat picker
Yeah the Pete Rock joint was nice on there
Rae should’ve let 4th and True produced that album if he didn’t want RZA to produce it
