But but but plans are getting "cheaper"

Sheep, you don't even get a subsidized phone anymore :snoop:

Good point.... I was just thinking about this the other day. These companies bamboozled a lot of people. They got rid of the subsidies but didn't actually lower the plan rates. These plans are too fukking expensive.

Breh, my friend was paying a flat $88 a month for unlimited everything on Sprint.

He is now up to $125 for the same service because he is paying $35 or whatever it is for the high end S6. They have just used great wording to trick people. :snoop: $125x24 = $3,000

Not too long ago, $200 up front payment and $88 a month for 2 years = $2,312

I made a long rant about it in another thread not too long ago and people were actually arguing for the way plans are NOW :wtf:

Been with Verizon for nearly four years now and I have two lines for 134/month. I've tried all of the major carriers and the only one that comes close is AT&T. If you live in a major city then you probably

won't have any problems with any carriers. But it's when you're not in a major city that you might have some issues. There's a reason why Sprint and T-mobile are offering deals out the ass to attract

customers and that's because they know their network isn't as good as the competition. Best believe once that get's resolved that those prices are gonna sky rocket and those deals disappear.

Yeah you're getting ganked...you're paying the subsidized cost on the access fee, plus too much for the data. ..did you insist on signing a two year contract last time u bought a phone or something? I'd you did, you're essentially paying twice for the equipment

I'm with sprint and when I signed up, I did the up front down payment. My bill is still around $87, which I still think is highway robbery. But I guess in comparison to the sandpaper condom rape you're dealing with it's a bargain. I had Verizon and I swear I was on the phone with them every month asking them why my bill was so high. If you're in a big city go on and get sprint or one of the budget carriers. I live in Chicago and my service is just fine out there and when I go back to Denver. I'm out here in Mississippi now though and I'm about to throw this phone in the ocean. The service is terrible, and the internet seems like it's running on a potato. Just depends, check the coverage maps. I know when this contract is up I'm headed right to Cricket.
