Well my fam has also told me to forgive what my relative's husband said about Obama on facebook, calling him something like a "fat lipped monkey." My family is not racist, they just don't want drama. But I can't help but despise that dude and think he's an ignorant fukk every time I hear or interact with him. I mean how could you marry a racist???

This shyt is so dumb. Would it be fair to say that most black people are criminals? No. I would say a small minority of white people are racist, it's just that since there are 225 million total in this country, that small minority is relatively vast.

Yall gotta stop letting the vocal minority influence your perception.

If it was such a small minority, politicians wouldn't be so concerned about them would they? Neither would Hollywood or marketing in general. The GOP wouldn't appeal to them because if they appealed to them they would offend the majority who are "repulse" () by those type of views. Obama wouldn't be for the "minority" of whites to get votes, either. Mind you, most of the politicians are white. I think they would know the true feelings about their own people.

I'm sorry to tell you...but white bigotry is bigger and plays roles in

1. redlining of communities
2. access to credit and loans
3. managerial positions
4. hiring

etc.

listen man...my point is that in general, people are out for themselves. Whether they are black/white/indian, whatever...people are short sighted, want to feel better than the next man, and want to be right.
What I meant by the "im black" shyt is that even when black people are in positions of power they will fuk over other black people. It doesnt matter, power corrupts.
Im not worried about white people...im worried about me and mine...and thats it.

Listen...we probably agree more than we disagree...when I discuss this with white people I play the other side...I just like being the devils advocate because I feel people are stuck on their sides w/o trying to understand each other (like politics).

Most white racists don't realize that they're racists. Even if they're sitting around saying racist things. I don't mean slurs, I just mean obvs racist jokes, etc. They naturally believe they aren't racist. These are people who rarely or don't interact with any people of color at all--they live in the midwest or in sparse areas of the US.

I had a friend who would call black people the n-word and one day his black GF told him he was a racist. I said, "Well yeah she's right." He didn't even believe a black chick telling him he was racist. He had to go to another white person and get them to confirm it.

So yes, many of these people do not even know their bigotry.

hey sometimes people are friends with people who don't share the same beliefs as them. I highly doubt at this time in my life I could be friends with a racist, but I am friends with some people who are conservative. It wasn't a friend I was hanging out with regularly.
