Has the mainstream finally turned on Wayne and Kanye? Will they be able to ever get back on top?

Both of them look to finish well below platinum on their latest releases

Ye was just feelin himself too much and fukked around and thought his shyt would sell on his name alone...he'll be fine

Wayne on the other hand is so far gone it doesn't even matter anymore. Not to mention people aren't buying shytty albums like that no more.

Kanye has been constantly going down tho and I feel his music is becoming far to experimental. I only downloaded one song off yezus

Kanye has the potential to win the mainstream back over, where Wayne doesn't. Lets see how the VMA's go this year..

Carter V will be what determines Wayne's staying power.

With Kanye, his experimentation needs execution. The critics riding with whatever he drops isn't enough anymore. Yes, his music is different, innovative, and experimental, but are the songs any good?

As long as Wayne has Drake under his wing hes going to always be relevant, kind of like how Jay was dropping struggle songs like "Aint I" then let Rihanna and Kanye carry him back to relevance, if Wayne didnt have Drake he would be 2008-09 50 status going into C5 :wow:

All Kanye needs to do is make an actual good album and stop being an attention whore by setting up fake confrontations with the paparazzi and hes good, but if he continues the way hes been going for the last year its over

Ye can come back from one OK album. Weezy dropped so many weedplates that even his fans don't talk about him in the top discussions anymore. Especially in the last week when it was all about the new lyrical dudes.
