Blame the zone. That really stiffles individual brilliance inside the arc. If you can't shoot/dont have shooters you got nothing coming into today's league.
That said, how we go from nominating Steph for sainthood to bemoaning all the threes?What couldve happened in the last 24 hours to cause such a shift?

Have you conveniently forget all the talk surrounding Curry and the Warriors only being as good as they are because of the 3-pt line, over the last couple of seasons? It's like I'm in the Twilight Zone right now.

The revisionism from some of you is beyond comical. I can't believe we're just forgetting all the old head rhetoric about this Warriors team benefiting from the 3-pt line and diluting the game because of their 3-pt happy style.

Half the reason the Warriors don't get the respect they deserve is because of them "benefiting" from the 3-pt line, and people are just saying there's a shift now with how we view that type of style (because of this Cavs/Hawks series).....after the Warriors won a title on the back of 3-pt play and the constant comparison to past teams/players....
Like we didn't just have an ENTIRE season arguing on how Curry compared to past greats, and his detractors using the 3-pt line against him.....

LeBron stans are trying to argue that people are only starting to complain now about the NBA becoming a "glorified 3-point contest" with the success the Cavs had against Hawks (thinking it's some anti-LeBron propoganda), and no one had/has a problem with it when Curry and the Warriors were/are shooting all these 3s......

Exactly man those series were like a boxing match and had so much drama. Not to mention fights and suspensions. They way folks on the internet like fukkery now....that series would have done hella numbers.

Up the "Has the NBA become a glorified 3 pt contest" thread from before and I will concede. Sure didn't see one after the Warriors set the record last week. Didn't see one after the Finals. Didn't see one after Steph and Klay put them selves 1 and 2 all time for a season. We really gonna conveniently ignore all the praise and hype Steph has received as well? Has Steph really received more hate than props or anywhere close to it?
