I always thought tyrin turner dragged down menace 2 society significantly. still one of my favorite movies but everyone around him gives a great performance and it really highlights how he is just not an actor. some of his line delivery was straight up awful

Call me crazy but Ray Allen wasn’t that bad in He Got Game. He did pretty much what he was supposed to do.

Of course the titties yea but Lisa Raye is a terrible actress. And I know the movie was damn near low budget hood movie status anyway, but a good lead could've made the movie legit.

I thought she did a bad acting job until I saw her talk after the movie and realized she really talks like that. Now that I know that it doesn't seem as bad bc the acting wasn't terrible. Her voice was to me.

Getting incarcerated
And forced by the government to murder a Black leader that was for Black empowermeant

And the leader got that man meant to kill him to see the light and change his ways

John David Washington in "Tenet". Hands down.

I liked the concept of that movie. But it needed a helluva performance by your star lead to take it next level. Buddy was trash

If you force me to think about it,a more charismatic actor couldve taken it to the next level. But that movie is still classic


Ray Allen definitely takes the cake and im glad OP made this thread. This is one of those movies I always think about how great it could have been with a better actor. Was Ray Allen the only basketball player available? I cringe to think how horrible the other people they auditioned must have been. Ray literally gives you nothing,ever,not one time!

Or let me say it this way, even if they cast a better actor I don't think those movies are much better.

I actually agree hes not bad. Actually he was decent as clark. But only so much you can do with supes and the lines.

The only variations i could see really bein on that level is an injustice persona or red sun superman imo
