Has there ever been a drier, lamer, and wacker singer to "make it" than Musiq Soulchild?

N!ggas hating on Musiq Soulchild??? I literally never ran into someone who doesn't like Musiq. The dude has made some of the most memorable R&B songs of the last 15 years. If you turn on an R&B radio station right now guaranteed you gonna hear at least 3 of his OLD songs on regular rotation. How can you front on songs like Love, Don't Change, and Teach Me?
