Dude had one of the least interesting voices ever.
Dude had some of the most bizarre and ugly melodies in his songs, e.g. Halfcrazy or Just Friends.
Dude always sang like he was always chasing the beat, always struggling to catch up.

Called himself "Music" like he was some kind of eclectic prodigy and all his songs were basic neo soul.

I always measure a R&B, Neo Soul artist on their live performance. I was a Musiq fan for his first 3 albums. After i saw that live show though for the first time i looked at him totally different. I have not bought an album of his since.
