no other stanbase has shytted on supporting casts so ruthlessly than kobe zealots.
jordan stans don't really shyt on the scrubs he played with prior to his championships.
lebron stans don't really mention the garbage he took to the finals...you know the team with larry hughes as their 2nd best player
but kobe stans go out of their way to regularly shyt on:
- pau
- bynum
- artest
- dwight
- nash
- shyt on phil jackson in 2011 after getting swept, saying his heart is no longer in basketball and that the game has passed him by....only to be begging for his return a year later
i've literally seen game threads where the lakers lost and kobe shot 9-26 but his name goes unmentioned when the blame is passed around. it's either a wide-open brick artest threw up from the corner, poor rotations by the coach, pau playing soft, dwight missing free throws, nash not playing defense etc. etc.

Some Kobe stans are delusional. The ones on here aren't even all that bad. Try going to sites like lakersground and clublakers. The white boys over there are CRAZY! They HATE Phil now because he said Jordan was better.

One of those rare stanbases that gets progressively more insane with seemingly each passing month... especially now with them feeling hemmed in from each side. The reality of Jordan's superiority constantly haunting them from the past, forcing Kobe stans to denigrate the 90s as a weak era; the comprehensive basketball greatness of LeBron rebutting their idol worship in both the present and future, prompting the contradictory urge to denigrate this era, and prop up the 90s as a time when Bron would've been beaten into submission by superior defenses, stronger teams, and great bigs; at the same time the significance of bigs being downplayed to detract from Shaq being the centerpiece for 3 rings, and also the brave new world in which Dwight Howard and Pau Gasol have always been Tyson Chandler type complimentary palyers who can't figure out how to help Kobe, the lone warrior with an unbreakable will but never, ever enough help. The begging for Chris Paul, the 73-9 claims when they added Nash and Dwight while simultaneously claiming LeBron plays on the the most stacked team of our lifetime, because Mike Miller, Shane Battier, and Mario Chalmers can hit wide open 3s at a 40% clip.
Has any stanbase ever gone this far over the brink of insanity so that they can't just appreciate their idol, but also must concoct elaborate rationalizations to degrade every single player who is viewed as better than their favorite? It actually seems without Kobe in the playoffs there has been more stan propaganda than ever - Kobe stans popping up in and derailing game threads, Heat threads, Bron threads, Jordan threads with such intensity and insanity that you'd think a Nas album just dropped and we were back on SOHH.
You have finally surpassed Nas stans as the most ferociously jihadding ass stans in the universe. Stan on, stanners.
As long as you feel like the player you're stanning is your favorite player and not necessarily the best then everything should be cool.
