Somehow my Kanye thread went plat in half the time of this one... I guess Kobe stans actually have fallen off.
Kobestans have been ravaged by reality in the last few years
Jordan fans are the absolute worse. The craziest part is the most avid are people under 30 who have no history of the game. Don't remember all the criticism Jordan got. They just look at his "accolades" and highlight reels.
I'd say Pac fans are the worse, even though many have now realized that he's not coming back. They was pouring jelly on themselves in 2003 thinking he was going to come back after the 7th year.
Nas' stans are close as well. I think the celebration of Ether Day is real corny, especially since it's been 10 years and the two dudes are cool & have respect for each other now.
Kobe stans have to be 3rd. Personally, MJ wasn't even my all-time favorite player but I recognize him as the greatest. When he came into the league, he was one of a kind & nearly every kid after tried to patterned their game after him. Kobe is the closest, but he's still not better than Jordan - and any Kobe stan that says different is either too young or just really delusional. Top 10 shooting guard, but arguably not even Top 10 all time.
You still see young kids rocking 23 over 8 & 24.

So let me get this straight. You have arguably 8 shooting guards that could be better than Kobe and 9 players overall better than him?
This is the bullshyt I'm talking about! I COMPLETELY disagree about the top 10 comment, but the SG comment is IN-fukkING-SANE! Bean is EASILY the 2nd best SG to ever play the game and the gap between him and number 3 is wider than the gap between him and MJ.
Lebron is the GOAT because he plays a sophisticated version of Basketball unlike Jordan and Kobe who played hood basketball

Not overall. Wade at one point was the best player in the league. he let LeBron still his mojo. He ain't getting any younger.

I don't think Lebron stole his mojo, I think Wade was smart enough to understand that he couldn't keep going at the pace he was playing and that Lebron was just bigger, stronger, faster, etc. and can just carry a heavier load than pretty much any player in the nba, maybe ever.
Wade can absolutely end his career as being better ( and i mean that by just the slimmest of margins ) than kobe. All he has to do is stay healthy enough and have miami win say...3 more titles in 5 years...
He has always been a far superior rebounder and defender than kobe could ever hope to be...kobe making 1 all defense anything is one of sports greatest name recognition only accolades.
while kobe was busy crying like a bytch how he needed some help just to get into the playoffs, Wade was consistently putting miami on his back to get them blown out in the first round while having Beasely and Haslem as the people he was supposed to rely on night in and night out...
The only thing Kobe has on Wade right now is rings...and it is possible that wade could catch him in that in the next 5 years
