There you go and Duncan is very underrated

I don't think Wilt is ever gonna be topped since he put up such ridiculous numbers, but you can make the case that duncan is the second greatest big man ever. I mean even know, his single greatest weakness...is that he is old and just can't log the minutes he used to. It's crazy to watch dude play and still put in work, knowing that he spent the majority of his career as a pure back to the basket game. He spent the majority of his career in the post banging with 7 ft 270 pound men night in and night out on offense and defense and he is still, right now, a top 3, maybe even the top, big man in this league...

There was a stretch in that memphis game last night were Duncan was just tossing zbo and gasol around like rag dolls in the post...

And when it all went to shyt last night, who bails the spurs out...The Big Gawdemental :smugdraper:

One of those rare stanbases that gets progressively more insane with seemingly each passing month... especially now with them feeling hemmed in from each side. The reality of Jordan's superiority constantly haunting them from the past, forcing Kobe stans to denigrate the 90s as a weak era; the comprehensive basketball greatness of LeBron rebutting their idol worship in both the present and future, prompting the contradictory urge to denigrate this era, and prop up the 90s as a time when Bron would've been beaten into submission by superior defenses, stronger teams, and great bigs; at the same time the significance of bigs being downplayed to detract from Shaq being the centerpiece for 3 rings, and also the brave new world in which Dwight Howard and Pau Gasol have always been Tyson Chandler type complimentary palyers who can't figure out how to help Kobe, the lone warrior with an unbreakable will but never, ever enough help. The begging for Chris Paul, the 73-9 claims when they added Nash and Dwight while simultaneously claiming LeBron plays on the the most stacked team of our lifetime, because Mike Miller, Shane Battier, and Mario Chalmers can hit wide open 3s at a 40% clip.

Has any stanbase ever gone this far over the brink of insanity so that they can't just appreciate their idol, but also must concoct elaborate rationalizations to degrade every single player who is viewed as better than their favorite? It actually seems without Kobe in the playoffs there has been more stan propaganda than ever - Kobe stans popping up in and derailing game threads, Heat threads, Bron threads, Jordan threads with such intensity and insanity that you'd think a Nas album just dropped and we were back on SOHH.

:salute: You have finally surpassed Nas stans as the most ferociously jihadding ass stans in the universe. Stan on, stanners.

:beli:

fukk u got against Nas, he's widely regarded by his peers as one of the greatest hip-hop lyricist of all time. Aside from that, everything else is on point.

I don't think Lebron stole his mojo, I think Wade was smart enough to understand that he couldn't keep going at the pace he was playing and that Lebron was just bigger, stronger, faster, etc. and can just carry a heavier load than pretty much any player in the nba, maybe ever.

Wade can absolutely end his career as being better ( and i mean that by just the slimmest of margins ) than kobe. All he has to do is stay healthy enough and have miami win say...3 more titles in 5 years...

He has always been a far superior rebounder and defender than kobe could ever hope to be...kobe making 1 all defense anything is one of sports greatest name recognition only accolades.

while kobe was busy crying like a bytch how he needed some help just to get into the playoffs, Wade was consistently putting miami on his back to get them blown out in the first round while having Beasely and Haslem as the people he was supposed to rely on night in and night out...

The only thing Kobe has on Wade right now is rings...and it is possible that wade could catch him in that in the next 5 years

Wade will never be considered above Kobe all time. You can stop that right now. It's not even worth analyzing. The only active players currently in the NBA that have any argument for being better than Kobe all time are Duncan and LeBron. They are the only two guys that could have--if they haven't already--surpass him all time. Stop talking nonsense. Wade stans have been delusional about this shyt for years now. Wade does two things definitely better than Kobe, help defense and draw fouls. That's it.

Malone was doing it until he was like 40 and at a higher level. He don't got the rings but he got longetvity and numbers.

No offense, but this same thread could be applied to Biggie stans. Because similar to Kobe stans, Biggie stans will try to FORCE people to accept that their guy is the GOAT despite the fact that the overwhelming public opinion is that Jordan/2Pac is the GOAT. Also like Kobe stans, Biggie stans try to detract from the skill of other players/rappers from the same era. Hence, the shots at Nas or any other talented 90's New York rapper. Biggie stans are also obsessed with numbers, like Kobe fans. Pointing to the fact that Biggie outsold other East Coast rappers when technically Ready to Die is not above other records like Illmatic, OB4CL, Liquid Swords, etc. It's like Kobe's 81 point game, the numbers impress them more than the content or efficiency. Biggie/Kobe stans so similar it's scary, and have inferiority complexes which are masked by detracting the success of others.

Okay, so tell me what makes Kobe better than Wade, outside of shooting more shots...and really that is a wash because Wade shoots a higher percentage than Kobe...wade already has two season of shooting 50 % or better from the field...You want to take a wild guess at how many times kobe has shot 50 % from the field :youngsabo:

If I told you that Wade has blocked twice as many shots as kobe...would that be a lie :lupe:

Damn I just took a look and career wise kobe is not even 2 ppg better a game than wade...:youngsabo: this is even closer than i thought :youngsabo:

And I am far from a wade stan...but go ahead and convince me...

And this is the problem with Kobe stans, they tell you "it is nonsense to compare player X to kobe" and then you go look at the numbers and you find out that..will...kobe is average about 4 more shots a game to outscore wade by a smooth 1.8...so...yeah...

:mindblown: you've got to be DELUSIONAL if you think Wade is seeing Kobe

Kobe is a lock for TOP 10 All-Time and will most likely get up to top 5. Wade would be lucky to make it as a top 50 player. I don't care if you think Wade is better. There are still idiots who think T-Mac was better than Kobe. The issue is who will finish their careers as the more decorated player.

Kobe's accomplishments, career stats, and championships put him firmly in a class above Wade. Only dudes seeing Kobe in the last 20 years are MJ, Shaq, Duncan, and LeBron.

Even if Wade wins a title this year, it'll mean nothing because he's being carried by LeBron. nikkas was taking at shots for Kobe's first 3 rings when he was playing with Shaq and averaging 25-29ppg during those runs. Wade is right now at 12ppg and looking :flabbynsick: Even if he wins the title, it'll be LeBron carrying him to the ring.

:washedwade: legit on sidekick status(and that's giving him a lot of credit as is) and nikkaz wanna say those hypothetical titles would help his cause.

wade never was, and never will be the type of player Kobe was. shyt, 'fro Kobe better than wade, foh with the nonsense. :russ::stopitslime:

It's not that I think Wade is better...It's that Wade, career wise, not right now, but career wise, scores about 2 less ppg while shooting a higher percentage, getting more rebounds, dishing more assist, and blocking more shots, than kobe does...

Or maybe this is why Kobe is better :ohhh:

No love for Hakeem? His accomplishments, stats & rings are up there too. He was just playing against some guy named Jordan that was denying a lot of Hall of Famers rings lol

I would include Malone, but he was one of those Hall of Famers Jordan denied lol

I don't think you understand how offended I am by this comparison. There is not any GM in the history of basketball that would take D. Wade from 21 to 29 over Kobe Bryant at the same age. :comeon:

In the last 20 years of basketball Kobe, LeBron, Duncan, MJ, Shaq and Hakeem were CLEARLY the 6 best players to play in the league, there is nothing that anyone currently in the league over 25 years old can do to leapfrog any of them. D. Wade will never win another MVP, never win another scoring title, will not make 1st team NBA with Kobe still alive and with Russ, CP3 and now D. Rose coming back. He's not going to make all defensive first team over the Tony Allens of the world.

So essentially you're arguing that D. Wade is leap frog one of the 10 greatest basketball players of all time by padding his shooting percentage by not taking a shout outside of 15 feet and being LeBron's CLEAR sidekick if not the third option behind Bosh at this rate, just because he might 3 more rings. :comeon:

He will rise up all time lists sure, but you say it like he's on the cusp of being top 10 right now where it would put him over.

Is he really higher than Dirk Nowitzski all time right now before he even gets to Kobe...

Hell nah, Dirk got longevity, an MVP, and a way better offensive game. :usure:
