Off the top of my mind, Abraham Washington had something KIND OF similar. He had a late night show host gimmick in WWECW and then when he got to the main roster he would basically do standup during Prime Time Players matches before he did the Kobe joke and got fired.

The Rock definitely had some moments where he would get a few minutes alone in the ring to do comedy. He didn't do modern stand up, per sé, but he definitely did some Cosby/Rock/Chappelle style storytelling comedy bits & skits.
