Has there ever been a white athlete that got the Greg Hardy treatment?

Media did Incognito pretty bad. He had to sit out a year and a half for being deemed a bully. But when those text messages were released it showed the whole thing was misconstrued. Martin was his friend who was in on the banter and a rich kid who couldn't take the grind and NFL lifestyle.

He wasn't acting like this in Carolina (missing meetings, sideline tirades, etc). Seems like there's a few moles in the Cowboys locker room

Naw, it's the Dallas sports media. @Originalman can really break it down for you.

The moles are people working for the Cowboys, not any of the players. I have put all these leaks over the past 20 years on both Jerry Jones and Rich Dalrymple.

Rich Dalrymple have to go.

Its the NFL's subtle way of saying that they tried to punish him but slipped through on a technicality aka female football fans don't be mad at us for him playing. For A DE who isn't making that much of an impact they sure love putting him on camera. No one is condoning him hitting that girl but i don't need to hear about it through a whole game for every game of the season. It's week 10 going into week 11, if you don't know the Greg Hardy story by now then you don't want to know. They're going out of their way to make you hate him.

Announcer #1: Dallas has been doing great on this drive, you see on the replay McFadden breaks out to the sideline and then is forced out of bounds before almost running into Greg Hardy who helps him slow down.

*camera pans to Greg Hardy clapping and patting McFadden on the back*

Announcer #2 : And there's Greg Hardy laughing it up. You know a lot of people want to know how he can just be laughing and joking with teammates with all the controversy surrounding him since Carolina with the heinous,HEINOUS domestic violence issue of assaulting an innocent young woman. Then he gets picked up by the Cowboys and Jerry Jones after the NFLPA goes against the NFLs decision to have him executed and they can't stop talking about how good of a player he's been and how he's been doing everything he's supposed to be doing like a model football player.

Announcer #1: Yeah right. He's not a model anything. Many people feel like that guy shouldn't even be in the league. Anybody who would do something like that to a women doesn't deserve the honor of putting on a jersey in the NFL ever.

Announcer #2 : Exactly. You hit the nail on the head. Alright time for an update of what Ben Rothelisberger has is doing at Heinz Field today.

I ask this, why the hell does Hardy deserve this attention when he not even that good? They talk about him like he's a top 5 player in the league. Beating that chick is actually making him look better ON THE FIELD than he actually is.

I been following sports since the early 2000's, I can't think of 1 White athlete who the media, feminists, & cacs-in-general went after like they did with Greg Hardy, Floyd Mayweather, Ray Rice, & Jameis Winston.

I want to throw Mike Vick, T.O., & maybe Pacman Jones in that conversation, but social media wasn't as big back in the late 2000's as it is now. So I didn't have constantly see it my social media timelines.

EDIT:
I think it's fair to throw Lebron James/The Decision + the following NBA season or 2 in this conversation.

EDIT 2:
:ohhh:Real talk, I don't remember Kobe EVER getting anywhere close to as much hate for the Colorado incident as any of these I guys I mentioned before. It feels the media & sports fans-in-general gave him a white privilege pass. The whole thing came & went in less than a year.

I think everyone knew the Kobe thing was blatantly bullshyt.
