so based on the replies in this thread following the OP's question... it'd be a safe bet to say "No, there hasn't been an original show on TNT that's been a major hit".

Yeah, it first came on NBC then they threw it in the bushes after 2 seasons. TNT came and 'd it but had to cut budget and reduce the cast members. Despite that they managed to give 3 more seasons of piff until they had to pull the plug themselves.

It's not as good cause side characters left for other shows. Do the chemistry of the whole show is off. It's still straight tho
