I just checked my usage for this month and I'm at 347GBs



I'm wondering when Comcast will say something about my usage. Have any of yal ever been notified? Comcast cap used to be at like 250GB, but it's been expanded but it doesn't even say to what.

I'm still streaming and downloading fine though

comcast shut me down a couple years ago.

they gave me some warning the first month and i laughed it off because i had never heard of a bandwidth cap. then i did it again the second month and they shut my shyt off. said i couldn't get it back for another year.

i don't remember the specific numbers but it was a bit over 300gb i think.

i had to be on dsl for a fukking year.

comcast doesn't have a limit for now.. but they're trying to implement data tiers kinda like cell phone providers. that's some bullshyt.

Comcast is the fastest net in my area, UVerse is garbage and expensive for slower speeds. I might have to cop a wireless card for my HTPC just to balance my downloads between Comcast and Sprint...

if you really don't wanna deal with the caps, you could look into comcast business.

it's a bit more expensive, i think it's $60 monthly for 15mb speeds in my area. but you can get up to 150mb if you're willing to pay.

we gotta while comcast has suspended their limits though.

I'm paying 60 now and pulling over 30mbps with 1 cable box that I haven't even hooked up because it's not even HD. ( @ them signing me up for some new promotion with Economy cable that isn't in HD)

I'm also tired of having to change plans every 6 months. I want to just lock into a price and be done with it

I'm paying 60 now and pulling over 30mbps with 1 cable box that I haven't even hooked up because it's not even HD. ( @ them signing me up for some new promotion with Economy cable that isn't in HD)

yeah, the business internet doesn't have a cap. you just gotta register with a business name. it doesn't have to be real or anything.

the thing is that they consider it another service even if it's the same address so you can't bundle it with your home tv/phone.

Nah Im not even 100gb. and thats 2 tv's that stream all day and online gaming.

Their is no cap....It used to be 250GB....that don't mean techs aint gonna throttle you on the low if you're disrupting the area...
