There's something that always shook me... 50% of murders in America get solved.. It's now 58%... But that includes ALL murders.. So you got clear cut cases, cases with witnesses, cases that get a confession, high profile cases, mass murders, etc etc.. All that goes into the 58% as well....
So just imagine how many cases get beat, where the cops have no clue who did it.. Nobody saw it.. It's not the husband, best friend, wife, mom.. They wore a mask, gloves and the murder weapon wasn't found.. Stone cold who dunnit. You already have a 42% of beating it outright with no parameters.. Now you're a smart killer, not just killing in the heat of passion....
Oh nikkas got bodies out here.. That also doesn't include manslaughter and shyt.. Accidentally murderers.. People who was just there while someone else did the shooting..
It's more people than you'd think. Not saying thousands per city... But a lot more than 3
It's really not that many people...
You can look at the clearance rate of homicides in most cities. I live in Raleigh, which on average has ~26 homicides/year, with a ~65% clearance rate. That means there are typically ~9 murders/year here, where no one is arrested...
There's ~123,000 black people that live here. We know this isn't true, but if you assumed that everyone who was murdered here was black and had a black murderer, that's means there would be 9 black people walking the city each year who were never caught on their body...
There's ~123,000 black people in Raleigh. Even if you assumed all the murderers here were black, that would mean there are 9 out of 123,000 walking around free with kills on them. Obviously, we know all murderers aren't black, in anybody's city...
9 out of 123,000 is 0.007%. And don't worry, of course alot of cities have higher homicide rates than here, but this same metric can be applied to any city. You aren't coming away with more than a marginal percentage of the total population, and of the black population...
In everyone's hood anywhere, there's literally only a handful of guys doing the gunning. Hoods in Chi, LA, Houston, NY are bigger, but the percentages still line up. Most people who have a gun have never fired it at a human, much less actually taken another human's life...
The other nuance of this is guys get locked up all the time for crimes unrelated to their kill, that 9 wouldn't be a static number anyway. Probably cut that in half, give or take, and that's about how many guys are walking around each year who were never caught. The other half have already been killed or are locked up for something else, not to mention a handful of these guys have multiple bodies (2+), so for 9 murders it may actually be 7 killers instead of 9...
You can do this breakdown anywhere using a specific city's homicide clearance rate. There are definitely some free men who never got caught for their bodies. There are more who were arrested and best the body, but regardless, your city, my city, relative to said city's population, ain't a ton of cats running around who've ended someone else's life...
average murder sentenced is only 15 years, when someone gets caught for a murder, it's more than likely it's not their first time
I mean King Von had 7 confirmed bodies and was still free, it's hard to get a murder conviction you need evidence, witnesses, and motive just to get suspects
I don't know where you heard that if someone gets caught on a murder it ain't the first time hahaha. It's actually quite the opposite by a dramatic margin. These Alpo's and Teflon Sean's and, allegedly, King Von's are rarities, nikkas ain't out here en masse with 7+ bodies. Not to mention when you have that reputation things tend to get exaggerated, you become an urban legend of sorts. Alpo confessed to 12 but those weren't all from his hand, even if they came from his order, so all of these nuances are factored in...
But 100% fact it's hard to obtain a murder conviction and the prosecution needs everything in their favor to do so...
