Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
I'll forever find it hilarious that Hassan covered the huge flaw that the Lebron led Heat had those four years. If Lebron had stayed, then the Heat would have been much better than the Cavs as constructed.

No they wouldn't, most of the guys they signed were because they didn't have Bron's salary on deck.

The Cavs have a lot more depth, more shooting and still have a trade exception to use. There was no way for the Heat to build like they have if LeBron had stayed, they'd have Whiteside but no Green, Dragic & Winslow, bench would be shallow as fukk.

I'm not talking about the rest of the team as constructed this year. I'm talking about the Heat's major weakness during the Lebron era. Hell, a partially driven Chris Andersen helped them go on a huge winning streak. The Lebron Heat's biggest weakness was interior defense and defensive (and offensive) rebounding. Whiteside was what they needed to cover that up. Lebron, Bosh, Whiteside, and even a gimpy Wade would have been a stronger starting lineup than the cavs last year. Mainly because I'm not sold on Kevin Love being all that useful :yeshrug:

Whiteside wouldn't have been on the team, Breh. Riley and Spo pretty much took a leap of faith on Whiteside because our team was so injury prone and inconsistent plus losing ugly.

Lebron covers up too much of our holes due to his versatility so we would have been good during the regular season but no Justise, Whiteside, Dragic, etc
I think Riley still would've found him and stashed him away in Sioux Falls. Hassans video game stats in the dleague forced them to call him up. Remember, Riley was always intrigued with cheap big men projects (eddy curry, Jarvis varnado, dexter Pittman, Justin Hamilton, Josh Harrelson etc)

Whatever, then. Heat have themselves a center. I hope Wade can stay health this year :yeshrug:

I think this Cavs team has the potential to be better than those Heat teams, they just fit better around LeBron, the individual talent isn't on par with Bosh and Wade, but Kyrie and Love are better fits with LeBrons game.

There just wouldn't have been enough shooting with that Heat team with Whiteside, that final year in Miami LeBron actually led them in made threes, second was Ray Allen. The Heat are currently one of the worst three point shooting teams in the league, and they rely heavily on Winlsow for perimeter defense, which they wouldn't have him with Bron staying.

How are the Cavs defensively this year? Funny story is, they probably had their best defensive team against the warriors when Kyrie and Love were out.

They're 11th in the league which is pretty good considering they started Mo Williams 13 games and are without Shumpert.

When fully healthy they were a top 10 defensive team last year after the trade for Mozgoz.

:leon: Well then, as long as they've move on from iso-bron, they should be fine. However, if you have Kyrie and Love playing, you still have two huge liabilities on defense. Sure, they're not James Harden tier defenders, but they aren't very good.

But I suppose not all teams can be lucky enough to have a world class offense/defense death squad like the Warriors :JJ:
