Can you HONESTLY say that A$AP and Drake can write/spit to the same caliber as Cole/Kendrick?
I can appreciate that you enjoy there music more, that's absolutely fine, but their penning and rapping is no where near as great.
This is the reason why I think Eminem is a GOAT candidate pre encore.
He was amazing at writing, great flow and delivery that fit the beat.

Beat selection is a huge skill. It tells me you have a musical ear and that you have an imagination/vision. You know what fits well with your voice and personality, what the beat inspires you to talk about and how you're going to deliver on it.
