OP you should probably change that to the jealousy definition of hate. Like people have said already, Hate has built nations, saved lives, empowered the powerless, etc.

There's a reason why Niccolo Macchiavelli said in his book that it's best for a ruler to be either loved or feared/respected but never hated.

What about someone who loves someone so much they don’t leave them even if they beat them everyday?
It’s still a negative emotion but I can safely say hate has motivated me more than love at this point of my life
I hated my teachers so I prove them wrong
I hated being poor so I made sure to make money
Etc
Your teachers wasnt thinkin about you lol. How many relationships did you ruin while that hate was in ya blood for the teachers who would walk right by you if they saw you?

You cant turn hate on and off. Did that hate affect you in anyway negatively? Family, friends, etc
Oh no I never lost friends to it
I was able to channel it using meditation
Basically I pretend the hate is a bullet and load into a gun filled with the action I want to achieve

half of yall really sound like women in this thread

hate is a byproduct of passion. if you're passionately for something, you have to be passionately against its antithesis.

you can hate without being emotionally driven by your hatred, and you can hate in very productive ways.

I'm concerned for anyone who can't find things and people to hate in this fukked up world

Not at all, hate consumes you, its literally defined as "intense and passionate dislike for someone or something'

You can't be intense and passionate and calm, you can dislike something or an idea to the point where you work to destroy it but not be hateful about it. Being hateful gets you jammed up, being calm and motivated gets you what you want

y'all get caught up in words man.. intense and passionate dislike to the point of wanting to destroy something is the exact definition of hate.

wars are never started over one insular reason, they're multifaced and tend to pop off due to a wide range of sentiments and conditions

Yeah, nobody doubts that. The number one thing armies throughout human history teach soldier and citizens is to hate the enemy and view them as subhuman. It's difficult to conduct total war without that. There's probably books on that topic
