I had a bat in my house a few summers ago

shyt was scary as hell

It got in by way of my attic after I had been up there cleaning up.

the bat swarmed by my head late later night after I had left the door to the attic and the upstairs open, I started hollering and running :pachaha:

I had my cousin come over and get the bat out and then we had to figure out where the hole was in the attic to patch that up.

So if something could possibly pass on a fatal zootonic virus to you and your family the best thing to do is for you to let it fly around your house, right? Just say ya'll scared...
Lmao exactly aside from rabies they spread histoplasmosis and Ebola etc

Tossing a bat out is one thing, but not bothering with getting checked out by a doctor to at least consider whether you need rabies PEP afterwards? Rabies is not a fun way to die and bats can pass it through bites and scratches too small to be casually noticed.

More power to you breh, but I'm at least getting checked out ASAP after tossing one :manny:

Breh If I had rabies it would have shown up by now, and by the time it's detectable in humans its usually too late. I'm fine.

On the topic of Rhabdovirus (Rabies), look at how it looks under an electron microscope. I remember seeing this shyt my first year of med school shyt scared me. It literally looks like bullets shyt is crazy and the way it causes disease via retrograde transport and getting into your salivary glands you start drooling shyt hits your brain you get encephalitis and it’s crazy because when you got it full blown you don’t even wanna drink water you get hydrophobia your whole respiratory tract get exaggerated

I think it can lay dormant for like a month or so until the symptoms, but you ever see a bat in your house again for sure get that shot. Shyt ain’t to be played with
