Good lord at least use beef stock :hhh:
for the record

when you put cheese on a burger on the griddle its a expert move to put alil water on the griddle then cover the burger with something

the cheese will melt like the consistency of queso

its possible thats the secret to that. Ive been to other burger places that do something similar but without the full "boil"

griddle cooking is an art like hibachi

That's just to create the steam needed to melt the cheese and warm up the bun. Still using this logic the water shouldn't be touching the meat, it should be spread around the patty then covered so the steam cooks the burger. The burger shouldn't not be swimming in liquid

Depending on the bun and the quality of ground beef, this could be a tasty burger… but I did not see any type of seasoning. They are liquid seasonings you can use for this type of cooking. Definitely should season the onions with something.

true

but once again it might be good. sometimes things that are "mid" are better to some people because of familiarity

like papa johns pizza. is it the best pizza? maybe maybe not but if you have childhood familiarity with it it might be

You can get the same effect from just covering it, the steam and heat will melt it enough. Lol all I'm saying if you want to use water at least season it :russ:

It depends on how far he cooks the meat down. nikkas been pouring water in skillets to fry bacon since forever
