when you put cheese on a burger on the griddle its a expert move to put alil water on the griddle then cover the burger with something
the cheese will melt like the consistency of queso
its possible thats the secret to that. Ive been to other burger places that do something similar but without the full "boil"

That's just to create the steam needed to melt the cheese and warm up the bun. Still using this logic the water shouldn't be touching the meat, it should be spread around the patty then covered so the steam cooks the burger. The burger shouldn't not be swimming in liquid

You can get the same effect from just covering it, the steam and heat will melt it enough. Lol all I'm saying if you want to use water at least season it![]()
