<---- How my face been looking for the past few hours because the numbing agents haven't completely worn off.

Long ass story short, I ended up with a fracture in one of my teeth due to excessive grinding/clinching then the shyt broke on me this morning during breakfast after I got home from night shift.

I ended up spending most of the day in a chair getting a root canal. The dentist had other patients, so what should've been a quick hour/hour and a half procedure turned into 4.

THEN had to call into work while half my face was swollen/numbed to high hell and had my supervisor cracking up while I tried letting them know what happened.

Root canals aren't quick breh and it's more than 1 appointment
The first is just to get it under control and clean it out and the nerve

I know, I gotta go back in two weeks to do the rest and get my permanent crown. But for the time I was in there (About 4-4.5 hours) and the time the actual procedure took (About 90ish minutes to flush out the tooth, clean the nerve and get the temp crown, not counting the x-rays taken and getting re-fitted for the crown because the material wouldn't hold the first two times), shyt was just bad all around.

I swear tha couple I got were nothing...in and out fr. And definitely didn't have to return either.

I could have got one two days ago actually but told them just pull that bytch the fukk out.

Lot of people grind and clench subconsciously in their sleep. Leads to TMJ disorders or other issues

Nah I wasnt doubting you at all. Just sayin its weird how our bodies are different/dentists operate differently.

I also could be remembering the procedures wrong.

When you hear that drill

then that thin wire thing needed 4 injections couldn’t feel the side of my face for hours after, also you can’t eat for a while after and need a gauze in your mouth to steady the bleeding.

but the Breh above is right it’s like 3 different appointments

Update: they fukked up the root canal and one of the “roots” ended up coming out.

Now I gotta get that fixed AND a new crown

Do root canals hurt?

No, they don't hurt. The needles that they'll stick into your gums is the most painful part. If you get thru that, you're fine. They take the nerve out of the tooth so doesn't hurt.
