No. I had dreads for about 10 years now and my hairline is still normal. I don't retwist every week/2 weeks like a lot of folks do and I don't stress them too often.

If you balding, get some black castor oil for your hairline. Also some herbs like Sarsaparilla, Horsetail, Bringraj, Nettle etc.
