For those of you who are black, we you the only one there?

Went to my first one 2 years ago. My photographer friend wanted to be a creep and take pictures of cosplay girls.

People will be costumed out. No one will care that you are black. To me it's really just a big money making scam. But, the panels can be fun ( I seen Bruce Timm, the winter soldier cast and the brothers who made the movie do some dope q&a.

There will be tons of art, buy something. I got stuff from this guy

Went to E3 early 2010s.....Was not the only black man there....:ehh:I don't really have or want a reason to go back though. It's just nice to say I've been one time. It's what you'd expect.

I went to KatsuCon in National Harbor, MD a few times. It wasn't a huge con but at the time I lived 15 min away in VA and had a great time each time with a few wild experiences. Met a part time stripper dressed up in a costume and literally wound up taking her up to a room on a leash :lolbron:.

For the most part it's a lot of people looking to unwind and indulge in their hobbies so people are pretty open minded and you'll almost always run across a few open chicks in cosplay

I haven't been to one but I was considering going to one in North Carolina soon for the hell of it just to say I been to one once.

Heroes is in Charlotte this weekend

went back in 2012 met Stan Lee and got him to sign some books (which i had sent where ever they grade them and authenticate)

the Fayetteville one is great though (its in October)- I have been the last 2 years. its more fun to me. the guy that runs the heroes con is an absolute ass
met the raiders great Fred "the Hammer" Williamson, got a pic with him and an autographed pic of him in his raiders gear.
but the people there make it so much fun, people in the ville are just on a Zerofuxxgiven mode that whole weekend and its great.
its also the cheapest.

the one in Raleigh/Durham NC comicon its expensive as hell though I only went once, it was okay. its in November and i think they even started on in the spring.

The one I was looking at is the Raleigh one I think. The guy that does the voices for Rick and morty is gonna be there, Rick flair, lavar burton, the guy that does the voice of Ken kaneki in Tokyo ghoul, and a bunch of other people.
Edit: just double checked. It's the supercon, July 15th in raleigh. I was thinking about just going for that Saturday.

I go to at least two every year. They're always a blast with my friends.

I had thought they were super bad and would reek of white sweat and armpits only but I'm telling you it's one of the most diverse experiences I have.

It's seriously great and after my first one I found a calendar for more.
