I stopped caring about the feminist agenda when I heard it was concocted by female logic. Which is an oxymoron in itself. :smugfavre:

Big fan of Jay z and I like some of Beyonce's music but that line was in poor taste. Especially considering that Beyonce has performed w/ Tina Turner and obviously got a lot of her moves from her (and has borrowed her look a few times)...especially earlier on.

Jay-Z was referencing a fukking movie scene...not making a call to arms to beat your wife.

So these white feminist will stand up for for bigoted shytheads like Miley, or the racist fukking Lily Allen video, but when the biggest pop star in the world, who not only seems to be one of the ONLY popstars that actually calls herself a feminist, but actually goes the extra mile and writes an article about her beliefs, references a movie scene with her husband....these fukking cac whores turn on her?

MOST female celebrities won't even call themselves fukking feminist.

And I'm mostly in align with black feminist on this one. All those black feminist advocates on twitter are always going in on cacs for their shytty attitude towards Bey. Pretty much been an ongoing convo since she released her album.

http://www.salon.com/2013/04/06/im_not_a_feminist_but/ (They put Beyonce on this list...even though they quote her as saying "I am a modern day feminist". The rest of the women refuse to label themselves as such.

http://www.ebony.com/black-listed/news-views/white-feminist-icon-schedules-retreat-atplantation-981 - White feminist ICON....planned retreat at former plantation.

But I guess you girls are "all in it together".

And this doesn't even mention the racism revolving around the coverage and stigma of black domestic violence as opposed to white domestic violence. You've got people like Sean Penn who, when he was married to Madonna, actually tied her up to a fukking chair and beat her for a night....Sean Connery used to PROUDLY talk about beating women....Christian Bale is a known women-beater....but you won't hear about it at all. But for some reasons, it's still cool to uphold Ike Turner (Who, for the record, pretty much created rock music) as this symbol of female oppression, or bytch about the Chris Brown incident well after Rihanna herself forgave him.

Puerta Medusa.
White "feminists" have been trying to denounce Beyoncé when she's the only major pop star taking on their cause. These bytches hate her because she's everything they aren't, married , beautiful and empowered.

When one of their cac celebrities take on their cause in a decent way I'll listen to the criticism.

Tina, from her own words has never even seen the movie. Reading her book, it's obvious they took major liberties. If somebody edited the part out of the song while playing it, they already lost big time. This isn't Nazi Germany...although I am sure some Feminazis would like for it to be as long as they are in charge.
