Wasn't the WWF at the peak of "Hulkamania" PG?
Alot more Starpower, originality and charisma back then nothing booking could do at this point can change that fact.
All WWE has right now is Brock & Seth Rollins plus Rock when he shows up.
Wasn't the WWF at the peak of "Hulkamania" PG?

Then why is Wrestlemania doing far bigger numbers than 10 years ago?The overall audience of pro wrestling is a FRACTION of what it was a decade ago
The WWE has just found ways to make money with video games, movies, hours upon hours of programming, toys, merchandise......
To act like the business isn't in trouble is a lie. Most of the audience left are neckbeard smarks who will watch no matter what

Nah i meant prenetwork 1-1.2 mil buy daysThe Network model? Were there free previews during WM month this year and last?
I don't even know. Weird topic to debate, I think everyone will agree that Chris Benoit's actions set the wrestling industry back a lot. I don't think it's been "killed". If it was a dead industry, wrestling wouldn't be on the air during primetime for 3 hours to sell more ads and sponsorships
Wrestling's mainstream viability was long gone before Benoit though. The worst thing Vince ever did was buying WCW. I remember as a kid everyone thought the big stars were coming and then we got a horrible Invasion angle with Booker T, DDP and a bunch of scrubs vs WWF for like 8 months. I don't remember anybody openly talking about wrestling after that
And WWE was shyt long before the benoit murders

They've had their moments, once Austin & Rock stepped down in 03 the quality went down tremendously to me mainly cause of HHH & his constant shovel work.
when do you think WWE was good then![]()
