More often than not I tend to take that L.
Yup...didn't work out, but it made me a better person and future husband. Still not perfect but willing to work and give it all that I have.

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with marriage. I know we preach #GMB here but I encourage all my friends who have good ones for them to take that step if they feel they’re ready.
Me personally though, I can’t/don’t even do relationships much less marriage lol.

Story time
It's a crazy story...long story less long, chick was still in love with her ex. I fell back and separated and moved to Chicago. We tried to reconcile, but distance and time will ruin any relationship. Shorty started physically assaulting me when we met up. I gripped her up on one of these occasions. She called the police on me and had me arrested. She dropped the charges ultimately. I divorced her shortly afterwards.

I’d be a fool to let her go. At my lowest moments she was there for me, helped get me through engineering school, and gave me the one thing I wanted most and cherish most, which is my little girl.
I also love her personality, as she’s fun, outgoing, and how she is with my daughter melts my heart. I’d do any and everything for those two. I tell my homie all the time, that even if her and I didn’t work, I’d always take care of her. I can be a cold hearted guy, but she brings the good out of me.
When you got someone good on ya side, you lock them down. That’s one of the many things my father has taught me, as he’s been with my mother for 30 years.
