probably would be better as a TV director now. He should come up with a series based on the neighborhood in "Do the Right Thing" or atmosphere of "She's Got Tto Have It" or the club in "Mo Better Blues". I think those kind of series with young up and coming minority actors would work today...

He can direct the pilot and a few episodes sparingly but likely just an executive producer.

I was initially interested in Chiraq but it seems as if he made it into a parody. I expected a strong script that provides a story into why things are the way they are in Chicago.
