Dave Meltzer noted on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio that there seems to be some concern from WWE officials about how much John Cena will be around next year. The concern reportedly comes from Cena’s schedule filling up due to continuing to receive offers for outside projects.

Cena may not be there every week but he's going to continue to promote whatever WWE is doing via Twitter, and I feel like he will always have a place in something WWE related.

Cena put AJ over perfectly, and since marks took over, it all went seamlessly. However, When AJ first turned heel, I didn't like the character. Thought they were ruining him, but he's truly amazing overall.

Still think he isn't working with right people. Ellesworth and Ambrose should be far a way from him. They have Ziggler, Crews, Orton, Bray, and masked Kane. But Smackdown to me needs a lot of improvement, so I barely watch. Maybe it's my shyt.

Finally, Cena is needed on Smackdown desperately in the midcard. Miz vs. Cena again would be nice.

There's nothing for him to do on Smackdown. Who is there for him to realistically feud with that won't feel stale or unbelievable?

Orton, Ambrose, Wyatt, AJ? Been there, done that?
Kalisto, Corbin, Crews, Swagger? None of them are at his level.

The only thing he could do that would feel fresh is challenge for the IC title, since it's the only title he's never held in the WWE.

I like that he disappeared. Having him stick around to go back and forth with AJ after the losses would have had him eventually go over in the next month or two just like he did with Rusev and Owens. With him busy with outside projects, AJ has legitimately been given the keys to the kingdom and is showing out.

Cena probably was looking at guys like Batista & Shameus likeim a bigger name then both of them and they getting quality screen time in blockbuster movies. Like a lot people said he has a look that could easily transfer to TV easy. I could definitely see him doing morning talk with Kelly Ripa.

The funny thing is the women in the business no when enough is enough and get out before there all used up but the guys they just can't let the spotlight go look at how broke down the two biggest star in the business ever are in Flair & Hoegan.
