Have we ever seen an individual pro sports rivalry become as lopsided as Brady/Manning?

The MNF broadcast had me thinking

Brady Versus Manning was THE sports debate of the 00’s. They’re only a year apart in age, Peyton retired after the 2015 season and went into the HOF this year. In the 5 seasons since Peyton retired Brady has

1.)Been to 4 Superbowls, won 3 including 2 SB MVPs. Led the greatest comeback in SB history in one, threw for 505 In another.
2.)Won a Regular Season MVP
3.)Thrown 200 Plus TD’s Regular season and Postseason
4.)Left NE, Went to Tampa, led A Tampa team that went 7-9 the previous season and hadn’t made the playoffs for 13 years to a Super Bowl accounting for over 50 Total TD’s between regular season and postseason
5.) In year 2 in Tampa is on pace to throw 5000 yards 50 touchdowns and has them 6-1 at the moment.

Like people don’t even debate this anymore. Is there another example in sports that comes close to this?

QB wins is not a fukking stat!!!!!!!:francis:

You would think that seeing the success of Matt Stafford this year would wake people up but nope y'all still don't get it. Stafford is 6-1 and the Lions are 0-7. You think the Lions would be 6-1 if he was there? NO. Same PLAYER different TEAM :francis:

Tom benefitted from having a top 10 defense his ENTIRE career in NE and flat out just good timely kicker luck :francis:

Beli has had the pats with a top 10 defense the past two years since Tommy has left :francis:

Cats, like Peyton, Aaron, Brees have never had this. Brees had it the worst. He had 5 out of 6 years of the WORST defense 32nd rank during his absolute prime. Brady has never had to deal with what Brees had to go through during the 2015 season. You walk into every single game knowing your defense is going to give up 30+ :picard:

The way they try to do individual comparisons in football is stupid as fukk.
So and so has more wins? And its too many factors that go into winning a football game.
Too many different schemes and not all positions have the same objective in schemes.

And don't even get me started on that dumbass QB wins bullshyt. All that started just so they'd have more talking points for these sports babble shows.

Yall still on this lost cause of the south type shyt with Brady and his defenses :dead:

First off, Bradys defenses from 2009 to 2018 were no better than Peytons defenses in the Colts.

Brady did lead bad defenses far. In 2011 and 2017 he got them to the Super Bowl. You can't just go by scoring defenses, as that is skewed by field position and offense - which Brady plays a big part in.

Rodgers and Brees had some bad defenses, especially Brees. But Rodgers, in the playoffs, his defenses were not always bad. They picked off Brady 3x in the second half and Rodgers didn't do shyt. They picked off Wilson 4x against Seattle in 2014 and they didn't do shyt.

And more importantly - in the playoffs, where their defenses gave up the same number of points on average - Brady was objectively more clutch. He has 14 playoff game winning drives. 2nd behind him is Elway with only 6 :dead:
