Have y'all noticed that bugs don't hit your windshield as much?

Pesticides, chemical deterrents, etc etc...

Obviously I'm not outside like I used to be as a kid, but I don't see bees, flies, nats, dragonfly nearly as much as I used to. Not a good thing overall bees especially.

Used to see bug guts all over everyone's fender and front bumper too not just the windshields. Don't see that anymore

This is not true at all where I live especially in the summer and spring months where I live in rural Louisiana there are bugs all over the front of my truck when I travel at night.

In the colder weather months in the fall and winter I don’t see them as much if any. I’m not an expert in insects, but I think I read something once about the larvae don’t even hatch unless it’s above a certain temperature outside.

Depends on where you are… I drove from Maryland to South Carolina a few years back and my car was covered in bugs.

I live in NC and travel to SC quite a bit...it's nowhere near as bad as it used to be.

I can confidently wash my car before a road trip and not think about washing the windshield at all when I get back :francis:

Hard for bugs to hit your windshield when you only take a helicopter everywhere
