I’m OP and I’m definitely from the South..I noticed younger Blacks don’t eat at Soul Food spots often ..idk where these dudes got the notion that I meant they don’t eat it anymore

I'm not sure what yall call soul food, but if it's the stereotypical, ribs, mac n cheese, fried chicken, sweet potatoe pie, or anything soaked in grease etc... I'm not part of the younger generation but I don't fw that food either... shyt makes you feel extremely lethargic, food shouldn't make you feel that way... call me a c00n or whatever you want...

nothing wrong with enjoying some of that food once in a while like for special gatherings, but if you're eating that on a weekly or daily basis....

We had fish fry and all the black old heads including our boss was there when one guy asked me if I was gonna get some greens I said "Nah I don't eat greens", breh everybody stopped and stared at me with pure disgust.

Them nikkas was laughing and making jokes and shyt. I was high key offended.
