Been pretty level headed as an adult 30's, I still think you're still a kid in your late 20's.
When you go from having nothing to lose to impacting lives around you (kids).
I'm just living life, happy to be alive and FREE.
I do legit struggle at times with that street mentality, I DO NOT TOLERATE ANY FORM OF DISRESPECT.
I don't go for looking for problems, but ill do anything to defend my life and peace.

In my 20s on some drunk ish, but not recently. I’m ALWAYS ready, but I don’t let little ish bother me like it use to (stares, shyt talk, etc.)
Got jumped by a bunch of gangbangers when I took a pic of them tagging the social services center that I volunteered at. [yeah, I know, that's asking for it.] They got a few licks in but they were all short-ass Latinos with no reach so nothing real serious. It was 6 on 1 though and I was worried they were gonna wreck my phone so I took off across the road with six lanes on heavy traffic. One of them chucked a tire iron at me that went skidding by on the road, that was the point I realized I'd gotten myself into some serious shyt. Don't know what kept them from using that shyt at first except that it all happened pretty fast so that was dumb luck on my part. When I got across the road a couple of them were making it across a few steps behind me, so I decided to go diagonal across the road again and see if I could lose them. As I made it across the second time sirens started approaching and they ditched. Turned out to just be a fire truck but they were already gone. I got back to the spot with a bruise on my face, a small knot on my head, and my shirt almost completely ripped off.
