Was doing 5-day water fasts once a month...fell off though:francis:.

If you've made it to 5 days, you can make it to 7.

In my experience, giving in and just saying "fukk it" and then eating something never gave me fulfillment..just wanted the satisfaction of chewing something, and that didn't really prove anything anyway. You can get thru it, unless you are actually showing signs you are hurting yourself. A lot of it may just be in your head.

Congrats to you, though. A lot of folks can't even skip a meal without losing it.

I fast all the time. I’ve been doing it so long that going two, three days on black coffee and water is nothing. You don’t even feel all that hungry. Though studies have shown that women, at least while fasting, handle it better. Since we carry extra fat to deal with famine. My guess is when nikkas was hunting and there was nothing for us to gather, it’s nature way of making sure we can still breast feed, give birth etc. (Harder for us to lose weight because of this, but it’s not impossible.)

Done a 12 day water fast years ago but that was depression. I didn’t take potassium or magnesium and felt like death. It’s day 6 you’re beyond hunger. You need the mentioned minerals. I don’t fast long enough to not make up for it when I eat normally.

Yeah I’m working. I thought that would help take my mind off food but it’s actually showing me how tired I am. I do house inspections and get on roofs.

I kept my gym routine intact too.
My fast was the exact same . Energetic day 2 & 3. Now I’m crashing. Light headed.

I think I could do this if I was at home.
Breh you could seriously injure yourself with these activities due to your fatigue.

I’m on day 5 and I’m TANKING smh. Soooo tired.

Original plan was to do 7 days then extend it to 10 if I felt good. Now I’m not sure I’m gonna make it to day 7.

I did last month and only lasted 6 days. So instead I decided to fast 3 days out of each week while sticking to soup and salads. So far I've lost 23 pounds in a month.

I did 3 days. I felt good wasn't fatigued or anything. I just got tired of the taste of only water. I would do it again if I could determine a way to incorporate another taste without eating anything. You may be on yo something with the lemon squeeze

also, after a while if you don't eat something during the week then your body will eventually hit a wall where it gets hard to lose the weight (body goes into conservation mode).

That's usually after the first two weeks.

I usually squeeze lemon into my club soda. But is club soda still a valid drink during a water fast?
